Onager Optek's active ingredient affects all stages of the spider mite. Female mites lay unviable eggs and all immature stages are unable to develop. Mites cycle through the present generation but there are no survivors to progress the population. Adulticides or miticides which do not have activity across the life stages leave eggs and nymphs to continue with succeeding generations.
