YUMA, AZ – (July 24, 2017) – Gowan Crop Protection Limited (GCP), an affiliate of Gowan Company, L.L.C., is excited to announce the completion of its acquisition of Agrotechnology S.A. in Chile. The now wholly-owned subsidiary of GCP will be named Gowan Chile SpA.
In March 2011, Gowan purchased a majority interest in Agrotechnology (AGT), partnering with PEERCO. Originally, AGT specialized in the biological business however over time AGT has complemented its portfolio with Gowan’s proprietary and exclusive licensed products.
Sergio Comparini, Gowan South America Regional Manager, said, “Gowan Chile is prepared to join a sophisticated market devoted to the export of fresh fruit crops and wine.
