YUMA, AZ - (September 20th, 2018) - Gowan Group is pleased to announce the addition of Kaoru Nishiyama to Canyon Group LLC (Canyon) as Assistant Manager. Canyon is the joint venture between Japan-based Nissan and Gowan. Mr. Nishiyama's main duties will be to assist the Canyon General Manager with daily operations in all areas such as finance, marketing, regulatory and development. Mr. Nishiyama moved from Japan to Yuma in September of this year and will be relocating his wife and two children to Yuma in December.
Gowan Group CEO, Juli Jessen, said, "It is a valuable opportunity for us to have Nishi in Yuma. His understanding of Gowan, and the relationships we continue to build, will help us strengthen our partnership with Nissan in both the short and long term."
Mr. Nishiyama is originally from Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from the Tokyo University of Agriculture with a degree in Plant Physiology. He worked for BASF for six years before joining Nissan Chemical in 2017 in International Operations Sales and Marketing. Gowan is very excited to welcome Mr. Nishiyama to the Gowan Family.
