GOWAN COMPANY, LLC LAUNCHES MONCOAT MZ FUNGICIDE

YUMA, ARIZONA (November 6, 2009). Gowan Company, LLC will launch Moncoat MZ fungicide in 2010 under a marketing agreement with Nichino America, Inc. Moncoat MZ contains the active ingredients flutolanil and mancozeb.

Effective immediately, Gowan Company will market Moncoat MZ fungicide in the major potato growing areas of the United States. It offers effective suppression of several key diseases in potatoes including rhizoctonia (black scurf), Fusarium dry rot and Silver scurf. 

The addition of Moncoat MZ further strengthens the potato product portfolio of

Gowan Company which includes Eptam and Vida herbicides and Moncut and Gavel fungicides.
