US EPA has granted new tolerances for Onager miticide on the following crops: apples, pears, grapes and citrus. The tolerances for apples, pears and grapes are national while the citrus tolerance is for CA, AZ and TX only.
“Over the past three years, Onager has proven to be a very effective miticide on stone fruit and nut crops. The addition of apples, pears, grapes and citrus to the label will provide a new and useful mite management tool for many growers,” says Oakford Bain, Product Manager.
Onager’s trademark is a blue, mite-kicking donkey named On’ry. The trademark promotes the miticide’s ability to “kick” mites in the earliest stages of development – before damage can occur. It kills eggs, stops immatures and prevents treated females from laying viable eggs. Onager delivers up to 60 days of mite control and is safe on beneficial mites and insects.
The supplemental label for Onager is available under the product information portion of our website.
