Job title: Customer Service Pricing and Finance Specialist
Sub title:
Responsible for advanced functions within Gowan’s Customer Service.  Demonstrates advanced problem solving and communication skills along with a very high level of attention to detail.  Key resource for Gowan product managers and sales professionals, external customer base and internal Supply Chain and Finance functions.  Serves as back up to other Customer Service Representatives.  Reports to Global Customer Service and Distribution Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Enter all Budget prices, discounts and rebates for Domestic and International Companies
·         Enter and maintain all actual prices, discounts and rebates for Domestic and International Companies
·         Enter all Budget Transfer prices for inter-companies within group
·         Enter and maintain all Actual Transfer prices for inter-companies within group
·         Enter special programs and set up in E1 for sales processing and maintain updated in system and to customer service group.
·         Work with Product Managers to improve processes and pull accurate information.
·         Work closely with customer service group in day to day changes to pricing, programs, corrections
·         Create adjusting entries as needed working with finance.
·         Code Tap invoices for storage and handling for accounting.
·         Send out and maintain Price Update Sheet for Product Managers.
·         Maintain and produce Distributor Price Sheets.
·         Work with accounting to close and open months; accrue rebates, and other procedures.
·         Troubleshoot order problems and fix them.
·         Provide backup order entry as needed.
·         Provide support to other departmental needs.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
·         Strong computer skills to enable mastery of Gowan E1 computer system and other business software.
·         Strong oral and written communications skills.
·         Demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous urgent tasks.
·         Willingness to work with a wide range of people.
·         Highly organized, self-directed & motivated person.        
·         Ability to multi-task and perform during high peak times
·         Positive attitude for learning and improving processes.
·         Ability to assist and lead department with guidance from manager
Required Professional Qualifications and Abilities:
·         Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management preferred but not mandatory.
·         Second language would be of benefit.
·         Ability to perform some analytical logistics duties.
 Physical Demands:
·         Able to work regular office hours.
·         Ability to multi-task and stay organized
·         Able to work longer time in a computer workstation
·         Fast paced office environment.
·         Traveling infrequent, but may be required.
