Introduction :
Permit herbicide delivers exceptional control of nutsedge and annual broadleaf weeds in select crops including field corn, seed corn, grain, sorghum, rice, sugarcane and dry beans. Permit is readily absorbed by roots and foliage and translocates throughout the plant, giving Permit two-fold action on the toughest weeds.  Permit aslo provides residual activity that works to control broadleaf weeds all season long.

Mode of Action:   The inhibition of the ALS (acetolactate synthase) enzyme. Permit is readily absorbed by roots and foliage and translocates throughout the plant. Cell growth usually stops within 24 hours of treatment in plants unable to metabolize the active ingredient.  
 
Application Considerations :
  • Use a high quality surfactant to optimize leaf penetration and activity
  • For best results, applications should be made to actively growing weeds
  • Heavy infestations should be treated early before weeds become too competitive with the crop
